1. What DataLeakz provides

DataLeakz is a data breach monitoring and notification service. We help you discover whether your email addresses, domains, or other identifiers have appeared in publicly known data breaches.

Our service includes breach checking tools, a personal dashboard, email monitoring, breach alerts, and security resources.

2. Acceptable use

You may use DataLeakz to check data you own or data you have clear permission to check. You may not use our service to:

• Check email addresses that belong to other people without their knowledge or consent
• Automate large scale queries in a way that harms service for other users
• Try to access or extract data beyond your authorized account
• Use our breach data to support harassment, stalking, or illegal activity
• Try to reverse engineer or scrape our breach database
• Resell or redistribute our data or services without written permission

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Use a strong unique password and enable 2FA when available. We are not responsible for loss caused by unauthorized access to your account if your credentials were not protected.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Accounts used for fraud or abuse may be terminated without notice.

4. Our data and accuracy

Our breach database is built from publicly available breach data. We cannot guarantee that every breach is included or that every result is perfect. A clean result does not mean your data has never been exposed.

Breach data is provided for informational purposes only. DataLeakz is not responsible for outcomes caused by actions taken or not taken based on our results.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Free accounts are available at no cost. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly based on the plan you choose. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, and access continues until the end of the current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law. If you believe you were charged by mistake, contact us at billing@dataleakz.com.

6. Limitation of liability

DataLeakz provides this service as is, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that result from using the service.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us during the three months before the claim.

7. Intellectual property

All content on DataLeakz, including our tools, design, blog posts, and interface, belongs to DataLeakz unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative work from it without written permission.

The breach data we index comes from public leaks. We do not claim ownership of the original leaked data.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. When possible, we will provide notice first.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active users by email if there are important changes. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any legal dispute must be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
